Free Indoor bike storage in the Lowry Building

City employees will be able to store their bikes in “The Lowry” building at 350 St. Peter Street on the first floor just off of the interior pedestrian walkway. The space will be locked and will require a key for entry and exit. For added security, bike racks will be provided in the space for employees to lock up their bikes. The space will be available through at least the fall, and possibly into the winter and spring months. This is a pilot program, so its continuation will depend on the level of interest and use by city personnel.

Use of the bike storage space is FREE! The only requirement is that employees sign up with CHA Building Maintenance in Room 175, City Hall Annex, and agree to follow a few basic rules for use of the space, including entry and exit location, hours of operation and use of keys. We are excited to offer this opportunity and hope current city employee “bikers” will sign up. We encourage those who do not ride to work to consider doing so, and take advantage of their own private city employee parking space!
